THE MILLENIUM PROMENADE
The mills walk which invites you to a real stroll in the past on more than 6,5 km in Olivet.
The Promenade des Moulins invites us to a real walk in the past on more than 6.5 km. From the Middle Ages, when the first roadway was built, until the beginning of the 20th century, this atypical route - a small setting in a hidden nature - saw the construction, from the 17th century onwards, of beautiful residences, each one more original than the last. Bold little architectural follies that delight the eye. Likewise, the boat stations, one of which is attributed to Charles Garnier, architect of the Paris Opera, enchant the stroll.
