The Orléans bus station with its many coaches now operating under the REMI (Réseau de Mobilité Interurbaine) acronym offers a network to accompany many people throughout the Loiret and somewhat beyond (Chartres, Dreux for example). It makes up for the lack of a rail network reaching Montargis, Pithiviers, among other important and attractive towns in the department. Gien, Sully sur Loire and Châteauneuf sur Loire are not forgotten either, and their castles are well worth a visit

The bus station is located below the area shopping arcade, it is a point of passage for many people. But its state leaves something to be desired (very dark, Wet Place and quite salts...), it is the meeting place for many surrounding bands.
