NÄRENJ
Bistronomic restaurant offering cuisine influenced by Damascus specialties with a subtle touch
Närenj (Syrian for "bitter orange") is a bistronomic restaurant located in a half-timbered house in the old town. Nabil and his wife Sousana, a Syrian couple, share the flavors of their homeland in a friendly setting. The cuisine, based on beef, chickpeas, pistachios and eggplants, is strongly influenced by the specialties of Damascus, with a subtle touch from the chef, who prepares seasonal dishes and regularly changes the menu. We spend an excellent moment taking our sharpened senses on a journey to the Middle East.
