LA CHANCELLERIE
The Chancellerie was a legend in Orleans, since the passage of George Sand and Frédéric Chopin at the time when it was a coach house and especially in the aftermath of the World War II, Joseph Erta, followed by his sons, turned what remained of the bombed building into a prestigious restaurant industry. With them, refinement came to table, into room, into terrace and luxury and good taste were everywhere. Orléans inhabitants made it an institution. When, 10 years ago, the Erta family sold the Chancellerie, it was taken over by an expert hand. Wanting to be a Parisian brasserie, open seven days a week in continuous service, the Chancellerie offers demonstrations in room in front of the clientele. Its speciality? Seafood. The staff is charming and devoted there and the very commited, dynamic and friendly chairperson for public relations will help you with your seminars, business or family meals, which can take place in a room, upstairs, overlooking the newly renovated Jeanne d'Arc place! The products are fresh and of good quality, and if the prices seem a bit expensive, they are up to the service and the catering.
