FNAC
"Curiosities Shaker": if there was a time when Fnac was not really where to find elitist products or unknown authors. Long tagged "supermarket of culture", let's say it, it's still true. Here we find all the best-sellers that publishers and manufacturers of large brands want to place: either all the trendy products and the mass market of the moment. Fnac in Orléans, located in the main artery of the city centre, does not depart from this principle. It's on the ground floor that you find books, with the exception of comics and manga at the foot of the stairs, behind new sections of games (!): youth, history and society, practical life, nature, travel, school and finally literature and fiction. Each time you pass by the shelves, they enlarge the one you want to buy! An advantage is that you can walk, touch, wander, or even read! For advice, you need to ask the vendors (this will never be the reverse) and there, know that (with few exceptions) they are not real booksellers but 'specialists' of everything... Like all major retailers, Fnac has a customer service, offers exchanges and refunds, a membership card, online purchases, ticketing, etc. and gives a 5% discount on the publisher's price for all books. Ah! We may be critical, but what would happen if we didn't have our good old Fnac, because the truth is, we're always in flux!
