FESTIVAL DE LOIRE
Every two years, around the third week of September, the banks of the Loire are decked out in their finest finery and come alive with a thousand lights during the Festival de Loire, an event that moves the crowds. On the program: exhibitions, jousting and lock-keeping demonstrations, boat races, sailing demonstrations, boat parades, tow horses, shows and activities for young audiences, street shows, concerts, musical entertainment... The festival is Europe's largest gathering of river boats. See you from September 24 to 28, 2025. A journey back in time to the Loire navy. Come on board!
