ARCHIVES DÉPARTEMENTALES DU LOIRET
The Departmental Archives of Loiret is the repository of "treasures" which are not suspected of existence. And yet, there are many historical documents, such as the oldest: The Charter of Charles the Bald for the Abbey of Ferrières dating from May 841, passing through the Bubble of Pope Clement V creating a university in Orléans in 1306 and then diving in the Lift of Orleans siege of the Vue by a contemporary dated 1429. Closer to us, a host of documents illustrating the period of reconstruction in Loiret after the Second World War; collections of photographs, maps and maps, drawings, Napoleonic cadastre boards (th century). Exhibitions, conferences, archival readings are organized and rich in teaching. You can of course do research, order reproductions, borrow an exhibition, create the blason of a municipality. For more amenities, go to www.archives-loiret.fr and travel to the history of the Department of Loiret. For the history lovers with a great H and for their departments!
