St-Marceau is an expanding district of Orléans and the District committee of Orléans St-Marceau strives to retain its particular character. Established in 1912, the Committee is an association governed by the Act of July 1901. Independent of all powers, its two main missions are the defence of the interests of the inhabitants of the district and its animation. It includes residents, associations, commercial and industrial companies without distinction who want to support its action.
Its activities are managed by two commissions. It is administered by a board elected at the general meeting. An office is responsible for its operation.
