L'ÉCOLE A L'HÔPITAL DU LOIRET
«To bear in mind the care that others bring to the body», this is the will of Marie-Louise Imbert, when she created the School in 1930 at the Hospital in public assistance hospitals. Today (and since 1980 in Orléans), volunteers have resumed their torch and provide elementary education to children and young people (from kindergarten to high school). Special courses are free and suitable for each student. The aim is that they may, after their hospitalization, return to class without difficulty. The E.H.L. intervenes in the care institutions in addition to the courses offered by the public service and is an association approved by the National Education and recognised as an organization of general interest of an educational nature.
