AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

The association fights against any human rights violations in France or abroad. It fights for freedom of opinion, the release of prisoners of conscience, the abolition of torture and the death penalty and against discrimination and crimes against humanity. Its means are through the pressure that anyone can exert on a government by means of a letter, for example. To participate, one joins as an individual member. Membership entitles you to a subscription to the monthly magazine "La Chronique". To finance the movement, the Amnesty International group in Orléanais organises events (folk dancing, among others), alone or with the help of partners, and collects second-hand books from individuals, which it then resells.
