LOUIS PASTEUR PARK
Louis Pasteur Park, one of the great green spaces of Orléans protected by Unesco, with remarkable trees and various animations.
Created in 1927, the Louis Pasteur Park is one of the great green spaces of Orléans protected by Unesco. It is located on the former cemetery of Orléans which was moved at the beginning of the 19th century to the north of Orléans, itself having taken the place of an old vineyard in the middle of the 18th century. Since its creation, this park has undergone and continues to undergo all sorts of successive developments, which have made its richness. It also has remarkable trees such as beeches, cedars including one from the Himalayas, a gingko bilboa and many others, which give the park a sweet plant scent.
