LÉON-CHENAULT PARK AND JEAN DUPONT ROSE GARDEN
Park offering a wide range of plants and a "memory" rose garden gathering the varieties of roses created in Orléans.
The park offers large spaces and a remarkable view on the chevet of the Saint Marceau Church as well as on a magnificent cedar of Lebanon. An adjoining 'memory' rose garden has been gathering since 1995 all the varieties of roses created in Orléans and the region since the 1850s. Léon Chenault (1853-1929), a nurseryman, has, through his acclimatization work, greatly contributed to the enrichment of the plant palette offered today to amateur gardeners.
