ORLEANS BOTANICAL GARDEN
A place to stroll and discover, allowing everyone to breathe in the city, offering a beautiful collection of trees in Orléans.
The Jardin des Plantes, beautifully maintained since 1834, has become the City of Orléans' center for plant experimentation. Here, you can stroll among remarkable trees, some of which are over 150 years old - tulip tree, sequoia, plane tree - two period greenhouses, climatic gardens, a rose garden and a palm grove. The Critérium de la Rose is held from May to July. The 3.5-hectare site also features a merry-go-round and children's playground.
