HISTORIC DISTRICT
This district extends between the cathedral and the Loire. Burgundy Street, one of the oldest streets in Orléans, is the main axis. Even today, this largely pedestrian axis (like most of the area) is the most lively of the city thanks to its bars and numerous restaurants. The streets regained new young people after important work (pavés, highlighting architectural details, restoration of the Middle Ages and Renaissance facades). They are close to the Loire Square, making the area of the Halles and the old town a place to stroll. It is a historic area in which it certainly makes good walks.
