ROUVILLE CASTLE
Castle built in 1492 at the time of Charles VIII, with a view on the Essonne valley, housing stables and an orangery.
In the north-east of the Loiret, in the astonishing Malesherbois region, the incredible Château de Rouville boasts a splendor worthy of fairy tales. Rebuilt in 1492, during the reign of Charles VIII, on a thirty-hectare site, it exudes a rare charm, all the more so with its rectangular, U-shaped layout. Despite being shaken by numerous wars, it has survived to offer an unrivalled panorama of the Essonne valley. Listed as a Monument Historique since 2001, it boasts beautifully crafted 17th-century stables and orangery.
