An observatory allowing to discover a great variety of birds in the sensitive natural space of Courpain.

A sensitive natural area developed by the Loiret House and the Loiret Departmental Council. Located between the dam and the Loire, it is a former aggregate extraction area. The fauna and flora have reclaimed this 17-hectare area. More than 160 species of birds live there and an observatory allows you to recognize them without disturbing them. Ospreys, black storks, little terns and common terns. There are also more than twenty species of dragonflies and numerous mammals, amphibians, reptiles and butterflies.
