MUSÉE DES TRANSPORTS DE PITHIVIERS

The whistle of old steam locomotives, the clatter of ancient mechanisms, long country journeys... Does all this appeal to you? Then you'll certainly appreciate the Musée des Transports de Pithiviers and its historic railway. Here you'll find an impressive collection of old railway artefacts: lanterns, caps, posters, photographs and a few steam locomotives. You can also climb aboard a real steam train that runs between Pithiviers and Bellebat. Both museum and railroad are managed by the AMTP (Association du Musée des Transports de Pithiviers). The association also organizes special events for Halloween, Christmas and Easter.
