THE GARDENS OF THE TOWN HALL
A beautiful two-story flowered park overlooking the Egg Valley.
During your walk in Pithiviers, don't forget to pass by the gardens of the town hall, a pretty park with flowers on two levels which overlooks the valley of the Œuf. Created in the courtyard of the keep built by Heloise of Pithiviers (between 965 and 970-1025) - an exceptional personality -, this pleasant place also offers the remains of the collegiate church of Saint-Georges, which transport us back to the Middle Ages, even though only one of the four apses remains. The time of a pleasant break, it invites us to open a journey in time.
