PEDRA ALTA
Chain of restaurants serving seafood and meat platters.
This restaurant chain Pedra Alta (which means Great Rock) offers Portuguese cuisine in all its restaurants. Twelve such establishments in France are trying to convince Portuguese, Lusitanians, Portuguese Brazilians and all others to come and try a Lusophone culinary journey. The construction is original, - a spacious rotunda - and the interior honours the world of fishing, right down to the sea bass which looks like a boat with its lobster as its emblem. The pleasant side also lies in the fact that you can come and eat between noon and two in the morning without interruption, every day! Appreciable, this kind of time slot. Cataplana (paella) of mariscos, seafood rice, cod al bras, seafood platters, pieces of meat (from 400 g to 700 g) and French fries salads, etc... The service is nice, because a smile is in order, it talks a lot and we sometimes have trouble getting along because of some kind of resonance. The cooking is a bit greasy, it's not gastronomy. That said, the portions are extremely generous although generosity never compensates for quality. On the practical side, the doggy bag is offered, for those who can't finish. A good point: it is the only Portuguese restaurant in the region!
