GARDENS OF THE MANOR HOUSE OF THE GRAND COURTOISEAU
A succession of gardens in Triguères, offering old roses and rare shrubs.
The Gardens of the Grand Manoir de Courtoiseau cover 6 hectares and have been restored since 1991. In 2004, they were awarded the "Jardin remarquable" label, followed by the "Coup de cœur" award from the AJJH in 2005. Landscape architect Alain Richert (1947-2014), a refined aesthete, redesigned the gardens. He created the Jardin du Faune, where roses flourish, an Italian-style water garden, an exotic garden brimming with plants from far-off lands, a garden of rare Antiques and an avenue of lime trees... Exceptional!
