Restaurant serving typical wetland dishes in Ebersmunster.
A very old hunting and fishing territory regularly flooded in spring, the Ried d'Alsace centrale establishments contain dishes typical of wetlands, including the matelote, which has become THE speciality of this establishment. Chef Alexandre Baur and his wife Linda will allow you to taste this succulent and refined dish, made up of freshwater fish such as pike, eels, pike-perch, pike-perch, tench, perch and even river monkfish (now very rare). If each family prepares the matelote according to its own rules but always with Alsatian white wine, it is generally served with noodles. There is also a roasted guinea fowl supreme on a fondue of tomato with coconut milk, coriander and basil or a garnished sirloin, green apple chutney and dates. For dessert, don't miss the almond mountain with its whipped cream or homemade ice cream.

Le cadre régional est beau, le service agréable et la carte bien étoffée et des prix peu onéreux, par rapport à la qualité et quantité.
Outre la matelote, laissez vous tenter par le filet de sandre ou la pintade pour les amateurs de viande.
