MUSEUM OF MINERALS, ROCKS AND FOSSILS OF THE ARDENNES

The region is rich in minerals and fossils, so the geology of the Ardennes unveils at this exhibition center created in 1990 by the Mineralogical and Paleontological Association of Bogny-sur-Meuse. At 9 exhibition rooms, the largest deposits of fossils and minerals in the department are represented, with samples of fluorine, quartz (rock crystal) or limestone. Rare fossils and spectacular sizes reflect the paleontological richness of the Ardennes. The first floor devotes two rooms to mineralogical pieces and fossils from all over France and around the world. The association also organizes an international award and exhibition of minerals and fossils on the 2 nd ^{weekend of April.}
