The favourite café-library of Carolo-Macériens! Chez Josette is the place to be for book lovers who like to meet up and share a pint of local beer or a coffee. Throughout the year, there are concerts, author meetings, free flea markets, debates and conferences to discuss and advance political ecology and the fight against injustice. In the bookshop, you will find a selection of local and independent publishers, with more than 3,000 books on humanities, poetry, performing arts, contemporary and children's literature, second-hand books at free prices and many zines.
