THE GREAT PUPPETEER
The Grand Marionnettiste is a monumental clock located in front of the building adjacent to the International Institute of Marionnette. This facade is actually the rear part of the Ardenne Museum whose main access is Ducale Square. Created in 1991, Jacques Monestier's work includes not only the clock but also a brass character of 10 m high which marks the hours from 10 a. m. to 9 p. m. daily. He then presents one of the 12 sayers of the legend of the four Aymon sons (a song of gesture of Merovingian origin). On Saturday, at 9:15 p. m., for 40 min, the 12 tables can be seen. You can admire the mechanism of the interior of the Ardenne Museum.

A voir si on passe dans le coin mais il faut être pile à l'heure et elle était une fois de plus en panne quand on est venu. Apparemment c'est courant...
En tous cas c'est original, instructif et ludique pour les petits comme les grands.
