ROCK RIMBAUD ASSOCIATION

Documents, photos and paintings in support, this exhibition, work of a passionate, Maryse Aubry, recounts the genealogy of the poet, his passages in the mother village, the writing of the collection A season in hell and even evokes the Rimbaud peasant, because the Rimbaud family owned a farm at Roche. Maryse Aubry is an essential figure here, with an incredible rimbaldienne culture, you will know everything if you meet it. Other meeting: the phantom of Rimbaud floats throughout the 7 km circuits that are dedicated to it. You cheminerez in the history of the poet: the Lavoir, the chapel of Méry (place of worship of the family), Voncq station where the poet took the train. The four sculptures of the artist Eric Steziak (realized for the 50 ^th anniversary of Rimbaud's birth) add, moreover, an indescribable charm.
