NOTRE DAME CHURCH
Located in Place Vauban on the other bank, just steps from the Place de la République, the church Notre-Dame is the largest building in Givet - dating back to the th century. Its darkness allows the visitor to enjoy the best of its remarkable stained glass windows. This church has the particularity of having been rebuilt by turning: The current choir was actually the nave whose entrance took place on the Meuse side. It houses a table of 1620 on the crucifixion's crucifixion, which is attributed to Rubbens, sometimes to Van Dyck. The autel comes from the church of the Jesuit College of Dinner and the stalls of the Dominican Convent of Huy.
