VICTORY TOWER
Tower located in Givet, each floor of which has its own vaulted room.
Old brick and blue stone keep dating from the 14th century for the lower part, and from the 15th century for the upper brick part. Each floor has its own vaulted room, the one on the second floor being the most spacious and the best fitted out. Its name is linked to the conquest of Namur by Louis XIV. It was used as a toll house for the boats that went down the river and then as a prison. It gradually regained its pre-war vocation as a museum. Note that the interior of the tower is only open to the public during the Heritage Days.
