SENTIER DÉCOUVERTE DU VIEIL ÉTANG DE BAIRON
Starting from the dike that separates the Lake from the Vieil Étang, set off for 4.5 km to discover the reedbed and the birds that live there all year round or during their migrations. This circuit will seduce you by the beauty of the habitats crossed where forest, reedbed and open water follow one another. You will observe grey herons, egrets and other macroule coots. You will also take advantage of the educational panels that line the route to discover the history of the stream "Le Bairon" and the issues related to the management of the site within the framework of Natura 2000.
An ornithological observatory is being set up and outings accompanied by naturalists are proposed several times a year.
