LES ÉCURIES DE MARLEMONT
On an area of more than 20 hectares near the state-owned forest and the Nationaux national stud station, Jean-Michel Serent and his wife Marie-Josée acquired an abandoned farm located in Marlemont, the hamlet La Guinguette. They are launching a breeder-calf activity by adding horse rental for the walk. On a vast career close to the farm, they lead the initiation and development to the coupling with débourrage of the horses (the stable is a regional accredited centre) and develop a walk in carriage in carriage, horse rally and forest walks. Today, they are offering on demand services for individuals, groups and holiday centres. They even rent their carriages and sheeted trolley for weddings or demonstrations such as the arrival of Father Christmas or Saint Nicholas. The couple also sell each year, to individuals or to equestrian centres of whole France, about ten horses of race. Some horses from their stables are even in competition and are regularly classified.
