This shrine, which is located in Monthermé, is a place of pilgrimage, decorated with multiple plaques and testimonies of gratitude.
In 1706, King Philip V of Spain authorized the construction of a chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua at Les Vieux-Moulins d'Hargnies. In 1769, the inhabitants requested permission to build a new place of worship close to their homes. Today's church is an extremely popular place of pilgrimage. Numerous plaques of gratitude adorn the walls of the church, which also houses a relic of St. Anthony of Padua.

An important place of pilgrimage in a small town. You will be without doubt surprised by the number of ex-votos! Almost all of the walls are covered with it.
