ST. LÉGER'S CHURCH
The oldest parts, including the northern wall of the nave, the croisée cross and the northern croisillon, are dated the th century. The building was largely destroyed in 1445 by an incursion of a looters band named Les Ecorcheurs to the Prince of Liège. Rebuilt, it was consecrated in 1452 and fortified in the th century during the wars of Religion, as evidenced by the presence of turrets and murderers. Nevertheless, it has preserved some Gothic parties dating back to the th century, including a baptismal stone stone tank in Givet. The building was classified in historic monuments in 1959 and recently restored.
