A symbolic boundary between the Kingdom of France and the Germanic Empire, this door led to the lands of the Dukes of Burgundy. A former step, on Roman life, Mouzon remained faithful to the kings of France. This door offers an exterior view on the current bases. Dating back to the end of the th century, they are contemporary of the oldest parts of the abbey. It should not be missed: the point of view on the city. You can also discover a niche, retouched in the th century, which now houses a Virgin to the Child.
