MUSEUM OF THE OLD REVIN AT THE SPANISH HOUSE
Museum in Revin, home to a superb house that is one of the few remaining examples of timber-framed architecture
Built in the 16th century, this renovated Revine house is one of the last timber-framed houses in the town. Set on a stone base, its cob and brick walls are decorated with half-timbering and corbelling, suggesting that it was once a merchant's house. Its name derives from the Spanish occupation and the conflicts of the time. Listed as an ISMH monument, it now houses a 3-level museum, with exhibitions and an immersive escape game. A dive into local history.
