FORMER ROYAL DIJONVAL FACTORY
Classified as a Historic Monument and created in 1646, the Royale Royal Manufacture was for nearly 300 years an industrial workplace where thousands of men and women are succeeding. The grandeur and reputation of the sedanais textile are at their peak, and Sedan, just recently attached to France, becomes the first-ever «Holland way» of linens, the only one until 1666. More than a factory, the remaining buildings form a magnificent architectural example of the th century. Only the facade and the inner courtyard are visible to the public.
