Old house on stilts with terrace serving local products from appetizer to dessert 100% home made.

Nestled in an old house on stilts with a partly covered terrace overlooking the Vézère, the place is original and in the kitchen, the chef works with traditional dishes while bringing his personal touch. He favors local products and from the starter to the dessert, everything is 100% home-made, from the smoking to the confits. We recommend that you share the Ô-Berge tasting plate as a starter. The originality of the dishes lies in their accompaniment. The desserts remain classic, but the ice cream sundaes are more inventive.

Nous avons été refusé moi et ma femme enceinte a 13h10 sous prétexte que c’était complet ( 5 tables de libre, aucune précision nul part ). Nous nous sommes ensuite présentés à l’entrée , où l’on nous a dit qu’il fallait réserver avant de venir. Étrange , les deux personnes devant nous sont rentrées sans problème, ni réservation. Le serveur coté quai était très désagréable, pourquoi faire ce métier pour parler comme cela aux gens ? Restaurant qui semble d’extérieur très sympathique mais personnel qui ne donne pas envie de se représenter ni de réserver. Préférez les petits restaurant côté rue de l’autre côté de la Vézère qui sont véritablement commerçant.

Had an amazing time catching up with old friends. The duck confit was incredible, as always. My dining companions were a little disappointed with their choice of dishes but generally we had a nice evening. Service most definitely could have reached a higher standard though.
