BATTLE OF STONNE HISTORICAL TOUR
A 50 kilometers circuit allowing to discover the villages witnessing the battle between the French and German soldiers.
Stonne and its surroundings were one of the high places of the resistance of the French army against the Wehrmarcht in May and June 1940. The French soldiers pushed back a terrible German offensive. This battle is called the Verdun of 40. 50 km long, this circuit passes through the villages that witnessed the fighting. Fifteen informative totems retrace the events that took place in these villages, paying tribute to the 5,000 French soldiers who fell here on the field of honor.
