This ancient Gallo-Roman tumulus, which culminated at an altitude of 338 m, was raised and converted into an observation post in the 2nd century and offers a remarkable view of the hills of the Argonne and its unfathomable forests where battles raged. At the foot of this natural mound, a modern AMX 13 tank pays tribute to the armoured weapon. It is also the starting point for several memory trails and hiking trails to discover the surrounding fauna and flora.
