THE CORPIAS ROCK

The Roche aux Corpias, also known as the Rock aux Corbeaux, offers a superb view of the Semoy valley and the villages of Tournavaux and Haulmé. Once again, it is the legend that gives us a dream: it is reported that the daughter of the lord of Thilay was rescued by one of her serfs. The young man made a pact with the devil to attract himself to his lady. The beautiful and the collectors fell in love, but their love being forbidden, they found themselves under this rock. This is where during a thunderstorm, a huge bloc ran out, ensevelissant the two lovers. But legend is not the only interest of the site: it's the pleasure of walkers, climbers (a climbing site) and geologists!
