LOUKINE MUSEUM
A place dedicated in 1978 to the artist that art lovers just like the curious will certainly love. Here, we can observe and appreciate the beauty of more than two hundred works, the majority of which owes the Rostislas Loukine (1904-1988), which had a workshop in Proverville. A Russian of heart, passed by Belgium and then yielding to Turkish inspiration, his painting is also the signature of a tormented being who fled the Russian revolution of 1917. Russo-Byzantines icons, gouaches, and some works by other painters more or less familiar adorn the walls of this building; magnificent work to discover. An interesting and original museum where some local talents also emerge. The presentation of the works, particularly in the cellar and in the lounges, is a matter for the visitor.
