SAINT GERMAIN HILL AND PANORAMA
Go there and contact
The Sainte-Germaine and Panorama hill (310 m altitude) is an ideal take-off point for paragliders in Bar-sur-Aube.
It is not just a car park with a view (349 m altitude). From here, paragliders have found an ideal take-off point, and walkers have a breathtaking view of the plain, as far as Colombey-les-Deux-Églises and the vineyards of the Côte de Bar. The place refers in fact to the5th century, to Saint Germaine, a young girl martyred by the Vandals. The barred spur dates from the Hallstat civilization (first Iron Age). This place was also an oppidum, allowing to see the enemy coming.
