BAYEL CRYSTAL MUSEUM AND ITS GLASS WORKSHOP
The Musée du Cristal de Bayel is a historical re-enactment site that takes visitors on a journey through the history of the Manufacture des Cristalleries Royales de Champagne. Founded in 1666 by master glassmaker Jean-Baptiste Mazzolay, the factory is a veritable monument to the crystal industry. The museum exhibits exceptional collections, including unique pieces from the Maison Cartier and Louis Vuitton. Visitors can also discover the various stages in the manufacture of a piece of crystal in the glass workshop. To complete their visit, tourists can also explore the village of Bayel, which has been awarded the Ville & Métiers d'Art label, and discover the Abbaye de Clairvaux and the Barsuraubois vineyards.
