CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION-OF-THE-VIRGIN-AND-IMMACULATE-DESIGN

Until the sixteenth century, Chamoy depended on the Saint Phal cure, a nearby village, but, finding the roads unsafe, the inhabitants sought permission to have a church. Built in the sixteenth century, it was restored in the nineteenth century. It remains the seigneurial chapel of 1539 and the nicely carved columns.
