MUNICIPAL MUSEUM THE SIMPLE PAST
Louis Baltzer and his friend Jean-Claude Petit spent over 25 years saving daily objects from the time, which were poured by whole trucks into the "garbage holes". Collectors now envy them. This museum is a warm place that exhales the sweet scents of a simple past: that of the craftsmen of the time once (cooper, buckling, saboteurs, etc.), lavandians, milk that we would be looking for on the farm, daily life in the countryside. Two thousand objects are inventoried this year, from the logger ax to the toothmate pair through the bowling game, have been gathered in a merry bric-à-brac that blurs the return to sources. The idea of these two fields: make this little attic a organized museum. The visits, since its creation in 2001, are made by appointment and are always guided: they explain the usefulness of these objects and share it with curious visitors!
