Located at the Saint-Louis castle, in the centre of a green park at the limit of Ricey-Haut and Ricey-Haute-Rive. The village des Riceys consists of 3 villages, Ricey-Haut, Ricey-Haute-Rive and Ricey-Bas, and this already marks a distinctive feature. It is also the only French municipality to benefit from three Designations of Controlled Origin! In this wine-growing commune, where Pinot Noir dominates, develops in indeed champagne, Champagne hills but still the rosé des Riceys. Three towns torn in history between the county of Champagne and the Duchy of Burgundy, other wines from Burgundy and wines of Champagne also fought the notoriety of the appellation.
