The town of Les Riceys is divided into 3 villages (Ricey-Haut, Ricey-Bas and Ricey Haute-Rive) which each have their own Renaissance-style church. In this commune, 866 ha of vineyards place it at the head of the wine-growing areas of all the Champagne region and the only one also to have 3 Champagne controlled appellations (AOC).
