CHAMPAGNE BAUSER
At the Bauser family Champagne house, we notice this reconstituted cadole, a traditional winegrower's shelter (a flat stone hut). We're welcomed into the house's vast, light-filled room to see how the work is done, before embarking on a tour to better understand how the local beverage is made. Champagne, rosé des Riceys and côteaux-champenois are all produced here; we're taken into the long, vaulted cellar adorned with antique tools and machinery, then up a staircase to the cadole. To be discovered without delay!
