ST QUENTIN'S CHURCH
Built in 1761, the church of Mathaux is the most late of the buildings entirely in the wood of Champagne. With a transeven overflowing, the building is a Latin cross. Do not miss the surprising bell, and the massive square tower fully covered with wood or essents scales, and overcome an amazing Campanile. The building houses an original tabernacle altar and a table representing the mystical press. These works date from the eighteenth century. Calmed down by a storm, a decade ago, it was completely restored. It receives an average of 1600 visitors per year.
