SAINT-ANDRÉ CHURCH
The church is currently closed for security reasons, but it is in Mesnil that the tuilerie was used to cover the Saint-Nizier church of Troyes. Bricks and stones marry but it is the xviie choir and the medieval chapels of the sixteenth century that are superb. What strikes above all, as soon as you reach the edge of the church through the old cemetery, is the romanesque porch built in appentis on the facade, with open doors open. The tower tower, subjected to the ravages of time, is traped and picked up. On the statute side, the Virgin will be devoted to the child, polychrome of the sixteenth century, and since we are in a country of tuilery, it is essential to stop in front of the last tiles of terraced terracotta gathered at the entrance of the choir. The various ornamental motifs determine the origin of each. The place is rarely open to the public.
