CHAMPAGNE GASTON CHEQ
The Coteaux du Landion cooperative brand bears the name of the man who led the revolt of the 20th century Aube winegrowers to recover the Champagne appellation. Federative, supportive, human, rooted in the terroir of Aube: Gaston Cheq is a character emblematic of the values of the cooperative.
The Coopérative des Coteaux du Landion today federates 80 winegrowers spread over 180 hectares, from Bar-sur-Aube to Bar-sur-Seine. They carry out homogenous and regular blends while ensuring that the vines are worked with the greatest respect for the environment. The cooperative has also initiated a vineyard quality approach since 2001.
The oenotourism area is an enchanting interlude in the heart of the vineyards. Its huge bay windows offer a breathtaking view of the vineyard. A place to discover the know-how and oenophilic events: clear wine tasting to learn about the work on the parcels, walks with guides for an immersion in the terroir, tastings and oenological initiations to enrich your knowledge, everything has been thought out to allow you to learn while having fun.
