FATHER'S HOUSE
In this village a little on the margins of Dawn, Father Brisson's house, founder of the Oblates Oblates and Oblats de Saint-François-de-Sales, whose beatification was celebrated in September 2012 in the presence of Manuel Valls, then Minister of Cults, makes regular visits. This champenois father, now a blessed, invested in the fate of small troyans and who proclaimed that we are «not uprooting an old tree», chose to finish his life in Plancy. He fought all his life to celebrate the Gospel, but also to help the «small». The place, cleaned, captures attention; small windows contain relics (books and other personal objects, labeled with impressive calligraphy). More curious, you will find the Marshal Foch office which, from Plancy, led the Battle of Marne for 8 days. During the Heritage Days, the ensemble is open and exhibits. The warm welcome of the sisters leads to an eye… Last April, we celebrated the Father again in the Cathedral with a superb spectacle of Sons and Lights.
